Fans will know that Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley had been briefly married between 1994 and 1996.<\/p>\n

The King of Pop\u2019s funeral featured his family arriving in a motorcade of 31 vehicles, while his brothers Randy, Tito, Jermaine, Jackie and Marlon were his pallbearers.<\/p>\n

The star\u2019s siblings carried the gold-plated casket into the service at Glendale\u2019s Forest Lawn Memorial Park.<\/p>\n

After the service, Lisa Marie stayed behind to have a private moment by her former husband\u2019s body.<\/p>\n

Speaking with Oprah in 2010, Lisa Marie shared that she was the last person to stand over Jackson\u2019s body at the funeral.<\/p>\n

Oprah asked her: \u201cAs you stood over his casket, were you able to make peace?\u201d<\/p>\n

After pausing, Lisa Marie replied: \u201cNo, I don’t think I could make peace then. It was more like I wanted to apologise for not being around.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reflecting on Jackson\u2019s untimely death, Lisa Marie said: \u201cHad I just said, ‘How are you?’ Can I try to make a phone call? I really did regret that I didn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

The star\u2019s funeral cost $1 million and this included $590,000 for the crypt in Forest Lawn\u2019s Great Mausoleum.<\/p>\n

Today his remains are resting inside the Holly Terrace section of the building. While The Great Mausoleum is not open to the public, Jackson\u2019s unmarked crypt is partially visible from the tinted entrance.<\/p>\n

Fans cover the final resting place in flowers, which security guards put out in memory.<\/p>\n
