Voters flock to Wisconsin polls despite coronavirus, video shows

Voters across Wisconsin flocked to the polls for the state’s Democratic presidential primary on Tuesday — despite fears of the coronavirus spreading at polling places, video footage shows.

One video clip taken taken at Milwaukee’s Riverside High School shortly before 7 a.m. shows masked-up voters waiting in a line that stretched around several blocks.

Other footage from the Badger State shows a blocks-long line of voters standing about six feet apart waiting to enter yet another polling place.

A similar scene was captured in another video that showed voters standing at a socially distant space in a line that stretched for at least three blocks.

On Monday, the Democratic governor of Wisconsin signed an executive order to delay in-person voting in the primary until June 9.
