Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'felt snubbed when Queen left them out of family snaps in Christmas speech'

PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle felt snubbed after the Queen left them out of family photos during her Christmas speech, an explosive new book claims.

The couple already felt "sidelined" when their picture with son Archie was not displayed in Buckingham Palace where Her Majesty gave the annual broadcast, it is said.

Instead, the Queen featured photos of Prince William and Kate Middleton with their three children, Prince Charles and Camilla and Prince Philip.

There was also a black and white picture of her father King George VI on the desk in the Green Drawing Room.

Bombshell biography ‘Finding Freedom’ claims the Duke and Duchess of Sussex considered the apparent snub to be "yet another sign that they needed to consider their own path".

Palace sources told the book the Queen wanted to illustrate the line of succession.

Sensational claims made in Finding Freedom include:

  • Harry called William 'a snob' for the way he spoke about Meghan
  • Meghan and Harry felt "cut adrift" and were frustrated at Prince William and Kate Middleton getting the 'plum' jobs
  • The former actress moaned she had given up her life for the Royal Family
  • Prince Harry compared fronting up to the royal institution to being in front of a firing squad
  • The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were frustrated the Queen would not meet them earlier to discuss their demands
  • Meghan was dubbed Harry's "showgirl" who "comes with a lot of baggage" by senior royals.

The speech also featured footage of the monarch meeting Archie for the first time as Harry, Meghan and her mum, Doria Ragland, looked on.

The Queen said: "I have been delighted to welcome our eighth great-grandchild."

It comes following a string of sensational claims made in Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of A Modern Royal Family.

EXPLOSIVE CLAIMS

The book claims Harry was “p***ed off” when William warned him not to be “blindsided by lust” over new girlfriend Meghan.

The actress was dubbed “Harry’s showgirl” by a senior royal, while an aide warned she “comes with a lot of baggage”, it is claimed.

Harry, 35, was said to be enraged when William, 38, told him not to rush the relationship and referred to Meghan as “this girl”.

Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, who had access to Harry and Meghan’s close pals, quote a friend of Harry as saying: “Harry could see through William’s words. He was being a snob.”

In another outrageous claim, the book says Meghan was upset that Kate didn’t “reach out” when she entered the royal scene

It also claims the relationship became so bitter that Kate snubbed Meghan during her farewell appearance as a senior Royal.

But the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have hit back at claims they shunned the couple as pals claim they "rolled out the red carpet" for her and Harry.

Finding Freedom lifts the lid on Meghan and Harry's bombshell decision to leave the Royal Family, since branded Megxit.

The biography claims to give an insight into the move – and says the pair were furious at taking a 'back seat' to senior royals like Charles and William.

They moaned they’d taken the monarchy to “new heights around the world” and were held back so they did not “eclipse” the family, it’s claimed.

The couple now live in Los Angeles with their 14-month-old son Archie after stepping down from royal duties in March.
