Playboy reporter shouts ‘wear a mask’ at Trump Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany during White House briefing – The Sun

A PLAYBOY reporter shouted at White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Tuesday to wear a mask.

Brain Karem, White House correspondent for the magazine, yelled, “Hey Kayleigh, put on a mask!” as she exited the briefing room

During her briefing — held hours before President Donald Trump holds his first coronavirus task force briefing since April — she was repeatedly asked about Trump wearing a mask.

Moments after he shouted at the White House, Karem confirmed on Twitter that it was him who pestered the press secretary.

“YES! I knew that was you!” a Twitter user tweeted at the reporter.

“Yes. It was,” Karem replied.

During the briefing, reporters asked McEnany why it took Trump so long to publicly support masks, as he tweeted on Monday a photo of himself wearing one.

"We are United in our effort to defeat the Invisible China Virus, and many people say that it is Patriotic to wear a face mask when you can’t socially distance,” Trump tweeted.

He continued: "There is nobody more Patriotic than me, your favorite President!"

McEnany said Trump has been “consistent” about his support for face masks amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The reporter who told the press secretary — who often spars with journalists — to wear a mask has a history of stirring up White House press events.

Last year during a social media summer at the White House, Karem got into a shouting match with Sebastian Gorka, a former adviser to the president.
