CUBA Gooding Jr is swinging by The One Show tonight to discuss his new West End role.

Here's what the star of Jerry Maguire, Pearl Harbor and Men of Honor will be chatting about and who is presenting tonight's show.

Who is on The One Show tonight?

The one and only scheduled guest for tonight's One Show is the man who made the phrase "show me the money" an instant classic.

Cuba Gooding Jr turned 50 this year and has had numerous TV and film roles.

He is best known to many as arrogant NFL star Rod Tidwell in 1996 hit Jerry Maguire, where he starred opposite Tom Cruise.

Gooding Jr more recently played the role of another, far more infamous sportsman when he portrayed OJ Simpson in a hit mini-series based around Simpson's high-profile murder trial.

The Academy Award winner is preparing to make his UK stage debut as Billy Flynn in the West End revival of Chicago at the Phoenix Theatre.

Chicago opens on March 26 and tickets are available now through to June 23.

What time is The One Show on and who is presenting?

You can tune in to BBC One at 7pm on weeknights to watch the show.

Today’s episode will last half an hour and is being hosted by the regular duo of Matt Baker and Alex Jones.

Each night the presenters mix interviews with an array of celebrity guests with an eclectic mix of topics ranging from current affairs to pop culture.

It is then available on demand on the BBC iPlayer.

Unfortunately, the One Show is not listed among the BBC shows you can apply for tickets for.

So viewers will just have to get their fix from their sofas.

How long has The One Show been running?

The magazine-style show has been running for over a decade. The first episode was aired on August 14, 2006.

From 2007 to 2010 it was hosted by Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley, before Alex Jones and Jason Manford took the helm, later being replaced by Matt Baker.

Chris Evans oversaw the Friday night hour-long episodes from 2010 to 2015.

The likes of Dermot O’Leary, Phil Tufnell, Zoe Ball and Fearne Cotton are among the guest presenters who have stood in for the regular duos.
