THE Hills' Spencer Pratt has revealed a 20 year feud with his sister Stephanie which has led to her not being a part of his son Gunner's life.
The American reality star, 37, recently opened up about his relationship with his sibling on the Juicy Scoop podcast, where he admitted that the pair have "never best friends".
Back in 2007 Stephanie, 34, joined the cast of the popular MTV shop alongside Spencer's fiance at the time, Heidi Montag.
For three years, the blonde bombshells turbulent relationship with her brother played out on screen, and it seems that nothing much has changed 14 years on.
During a recent chat with Heather McDonald, Spencer lifted the lid on their family dynamics, and admitted that their clashing personalities has meant that Stephanie hasn't been around to watch his three-year-old son grow up.
He said: "I have the same relationship and opinion about my sister as I did in 2005.
"She's a great aunt to my older sister's kids, but we're not close for 15, almost 20 years. So long that she wouldn't be in Gunner's life."
The Celebrity Big Brother star explained that being in the spotlight made their ongoing spat a lot more dramatic than it actually was.
He added: "The Hills' and the media and Stephanie and her podcast made it into this dramatic thing.
"We were never like best friends and chatty or whatever."
Their feud began all the way back in 2007 when The Hills showed the drama play out between Spencer's wife Heidi and cast mate Lauren Conrad.
When Stephanie joined the show three seasons in, she originally had her sister-in-law's back, but things soon turned sour when she befriended Lauren.
Things got so bad between the trio that Heidi and Spencer quit half way through the last ever season.
Since the show ended in 2010, the pair's relationship has been very up and down, with them both admitting several times that they've not been on speaking terms.
Despite all the tension between them, Stephanie took part in The Hills: New Beginnings, alongside her brother with no issues back in 2019.
However, Spencer told Heather on the podcast that his sister won't be returning, considering filming started back in November 2020.
But it doesn't come as much of a shock after Stephanie branded Spencer and his other half "the most toxic people" she's ever met.
Back in 2019, she said on her very own podcast Pratt Cast: "We are not on good terms. We are not on speaking terms, I do not consider them my family.”
She continued: "I'm not going to pretend that Spencer and Heidi are good people like I was doing for most of the series for my parents … They are the most toxic people I've ever met."
Stephanie also took to Instagram after filming had ended to make her feelings clear about her brother were known after appearing on the spin-off show.
She told her 822k followers: "I'm drained from this year. So happy to be back home in London, where evil siblings don't exist… but instead the MOST lovely people in the world- you guys are my family these days.
"I am so grateful, it makes my heart hurt . Thank you for making me feel like I belong somewhere (Spencer often screamed that everyone hates me, is fake nice to me and to go back to London because no one wants me here).
"omg and Heidi- I have no words for how evil you truly are- you had no choice to admit all of the lies you've been spewing about me was for a magazine cover."
