The Chases Mark Labbett gets felt up four times a night by frisky fans

The Chase star Mark Labbett may instil fear into many but he claims he frequently receives sexual attention from both men and women when he's out and about.

Brainiac Mark, 56, who initially started his career as a maths and physical education supply teacher found fame back in 2009 when he first appeared on the popular ITV quiz show.

Nicknamed The Beast for his impressive 6ft 6in frame, he often finds himself fighting off the unwanted attention which he claims even happens in the bingo halls.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, he said: "I've done a lot of gigs up and down the country, things like bingo hall and pub quizzes and it's great fun.

But I can safely say on any given gig I get my a**e felt about four times, it's at every gig and that's not just women.

"I've had women who have pulled my face on to kiss them, they sit down on my knees and I've had to throw them off."

Mark went on to say: "The worst one was I was wearing jeans and the woman grabbed my meat and two veg.

"I was trying to chat up another lady, if I'd have done that to her I would be in the cells.

"I've got the female equivalent of those men that always paw women."

The Beast later revealed that he's often targetted by online robots who continue to inundate him with sexually explicit pictures.

Reflecting on his split from his wife of six years, Katie, in 2020, he explained: "I'm single now, we are separated but we get on really well, we co-parent.

"I promised to look after her and I promised to look after my kid."

Mark recently had an unexpected reunion with a former student of his during an episode of The Chase.

Earlier this month, HR officer Neil, revealed to Bradley Walsh he had hoped he would be facing Mark, saying: "It would be interesting to see who teaches who a lesson."

As Mark appeared, he said: "Well are you here to quiz or to hand in that piece of homework you still owe me from 18 years ago?"

Bradley found this hilarious and asked what type of pupil Neil was, which Mark instantly hit back with: "Bright but not super bright because I can't remember him that well."

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and the ITV Hub.
