Stu Carpenter in danger as Dom discovers windfall cash in Coronation Street | The Sun

DOM rocked up the cobbles in the hopes of bonding with his long-lost daughter Eliza Woodrow.

But next week, the Coronation Street newcomer makes a discovery that could put Stu Carpenter in danger.

Money talks in the cobbles and, sometimes, it can be deadly – but will it be the case for beloved Speed Daal chef Stu Carpenter (played by Bill Fellows)?

The former homeless man took in his granddaughter Eliza (Savannah Kunyo) after her mother Bridget was sent to prison for the murder of Charlie Walters.

ITV viewers became fearful the young girl could be embroiled in grooming horror when she was then seen talking to an older man on her phone.

But in a surprising twist, this man was revealed to be her estranged father Dom (Darren Morfitt) and the new character has been trying to be a part of her life ever since.

However, Stu is far from happy about Dom's budding relationship with Eliza and is more concerned about keeping her safe and close to home.

Coming up next week, Yasmeen (Shelley King), Stu's primary source of support throughout the ordeal, tells him that her grandson Zeedan Nazir (Qasim Akhtar) is planning to take her to Pakistan for her 70th birthday, which she's due to celebrate on September 16.

However, she insists she doesn't like to leave Stu while he is so stressed about the situation with Dom and Eliza.

Stu reassures her and maintains she must go as it could be the trip of a lifetime for her.
