Strictly's Max George becomes Homer Simpson and Dianne Buswell flashes pants in show's 'weirdest ever dance'

STRICTLY fans have branded Max George's Simpsons routine as the show's "weirdest ever dance".

The Wanted star, 32, was transformed from singing heart-throb to fat slob as Homer Simpson for the surreal Couple's Choice performance.

At one point he grabbed dance partner Dianne Buswell's leg and played it like a saxophone.

The 31-year-old pro then perched herself on the sofa – a replica from the iconic cartoon – and flashed her pants to the audience.

But fans were astonished, with one writing: "That Simpsons themed dance has to be one of the weirdest I have ever seen on Strictly."

Another boggled: What the bloody hell was all that about?" A third likened it to a "bad fever dream".



Others thought the appearance of Marge's powder-blue underpants too much.

One viewer wrote: "Ehhh, didn’t want to see Marge Simpson’s pants. That wasn’t for me. Too frenetic."
