Spoilers: Mick and Linda reconsider selling the Queen Vic in EastEnders?

Following Linda Carter’s (Kellie Bright) battle with alcoholism in EastEnders, Mick (Danny Dyer) resolved that it would be in his beloved wife’s best interests for them to sell the Queen Vic and move on to pastures new, but they appear to have doubts about doing so in the coming episodes.

In an effort to support Linda following her struggle with alcohol, Mick decided that selling up the beloved boozer was the only way forward, and Linda was inclined to agree.

Therefore, the pair of them set about finding a buyer for the pub — and Phil (Steve McFadden) soon highlighted that he was very much interested in purchasing it from them.

Both Phil and Linda bonded over their struggles with the booze, and therefore — knowing he wanted the pub for Sharon (Letitia Dean) — Linda decided that he could have it.

In the coming episodes, the Carters look towards the future, as they set their sights on a house to rent — but they’re left worried about the prospect of Phil paying them with dodgy money.

Will this result in them backing out of the sale?

What’s more, will their efforts to move on remind them of how much they loved being behind the bar?

One to watch: Monday 8 June at 8pm on BBC One.
