Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) faced the consequences of Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) and Dawn’s (Olivia Bromley) actions in Emmerdale, as he was taken in for questioning regarding DI Malone’s (Mark Womack) disappearance.
Dawn was on edge for the duration of tonight’s episode (August 24), as she struggled to come to terms with recent events.
Matters were further complicated when Will returned from a run and revealed that the police wanted him to come down to the station regarding Malone’s disappearance.
Dawn feared the worst, while Harriet attempted to comfort and reassure her, but the vicar’s words had little effect, and Dawn ultimately broke up with Billy (Jay Kontzle).
Meanwhile, at the police station, Will was questioned by DS Wise (Neil Roberts), and he denied having any involvement in Malone’s vanishing.
However, his words ultimately suggested that he knew more than he was letting on, and therefore Wise decided to keep him in for further questioning.
When Harriet got wind of the fact that Will had been kept in, she realised that their actions could ultimately backfire on her fiancé.
What’s more, Dawn was horrfied to learn that her dad could pay the price for what they did.
What will happen to Will?
Will he be charged with murder and therefore go to prison?
Or will Dawn come clean to save her dad?
Only time will tell.
Emmerdale continues August 24 at 7pm on ITV.
