Emmerdale actor Reece Dinsdale has returned to the soap, despite his character Paul Ashdale being killed off earlier this year.
The star played abusive Paul, who died when Jimmy King (Nick Miles) crashed his van into the Dingle barn, causing it to collapse.
But now his on-screen other half Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle, has welcomed Reece back as he starts a new venture with the soap.
Taking to Instagram, the former Loose Women star shared a picture of Reece and wrote: "Good luck Daddy Dins, Reece Dinsdale, as you start your block directing Emmerdale tomorrow.
"Everyone's behind you and so happy for you. I was just wondering 'are you bringing your coat'?"
She went on: "Still at two metres, I send you a big snuggle of my love and luck."
The former Strictly Come Dancing star added hashtags such as "hug" "good luck" "team work" and "together".
The soap star's 171,000 Instagram followers were quick to share Lisa's sentiments in the comment section.
One wrote: "Good luck Reece. Love all his work, one of my all time favourite actors/directors."

A second said: "Brilliant, good luck behind the camera Reece."
A third commented: "Amazing news. I'm sure he will be wonderful at directing!"
Someone else said: "How lucky we all are. Can't wait to see you again my friend."
While a fifth added: "He's gonna smash it out of the park!"
Back in April, Reece confirmed he wouldn't be away from the Dales too long after his on-screen exit.
Reece said: "I was actually directing on Emmerdale when I was asked, right out of the blue, if I would like to play Paul.
"I'm delighted to announce, therefore, that I shall begin directing once again on the show in a couple of weeks time.
