Emmerdale fans have long been intrigued by the mysterious Gail Loman, portrayed by the talented actress Rachael Gill-Davis.
However, what many fans may not realise is that the TV star once had a lesser-known role in a rival soap opera just last year.
Eagle-eyed fans may have previously spotted the star from a fleeting role she had in ITVs Coronation Street, where she played a receptionist.

But the star was already making her mark on Emmerdale before her Corrie stint and her latest storyline has viewers on the edge of their seats.
Gail has been keeping secrets from her boyfriend Ryan Stocks. Sneaking off during a romantic meal to take a mysterious phone call and a chance encounter with someone named Sophie at the Allotment have left fans speculating about her true identity.
As upcoming Emmerdale spoilers suggest, the truth about Gail's hidden past is about to be unveiled. While the mystery of Oscar continues to baffle fans, some viewers have begun to connect the dots, theorizing that Gail may be the long-lost daughter of the former Emmerdale resident Zoe Tate.
For those who remember, Zoe and her daughter Jean vanished from the village after a heated conflict with another villager, never to return. Some now speculate that Gail might be Jean, concealing her true identity under an alias.
Curiously, the recent Emmerdale spoilers may offer a clue to Gail's hidden past, as they mention a character named Sophie who was previously featured on the show and had ties to the Tate family. The mention of an unfamiliar name, Oscar, adds another layer of intrigue. No character in Emmerdale has held this name so far, deepening the mystery surrounding Gail's past.
