Coronation Street's Helen Flanagan hit with shaming over post baby body

Helen Flanagan has been hit with trolling over the slim figure she has shared on Instagram eight weeks after the birth of her baby.

The actress, best known as Coronation Street’s Rosie Webster, shared a snap of herself in a bikini but was horrified when mum-shamers came along to slam her.

Helen gave birth to her son Charlie recently and shared her delight at the arrival but some people just can’t let hateful comments stay in their head.

An insider told The Sun that Helen had received comments that accused her of putting other mums to shame.

They said: ‘Criticism is hard for Helen as she’s openly admitted to being insecure and is very self-aware.

‘The photo was a happy moment with her girls and she did feel content in her body.

‘She got a lot of really lovely comments but the negative comments from mummy-shamers still crept in and they do hurt.’

Helen previously said: ‘As a mummy of girls I want to show them to be confident in their own skin and to love themselves.

‘I do affirmations with them on the school run such as, “I am amazing”, “I can do anything”.’

The source added that Helen had not set out to offend anyone but just wanted to share a happy moment with her two girls.
