Big Brother releases first look image as AJ Odudu prepares for ITV reboot

Big Brother host reveal – coming soon to ITV2 & ITVX

Big Brother has released a first-look image at what fans can expect to see for its highly anticipated return.

The ITV reality show will be hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best who are seen sitting site-by-side outside of a trailer.

Wearing a long-sleeved red dress, AJ looks glamorous next to her new co-star as Will appears dapper in his suit, which he has paired with a white top underneath.

As AJ leans on Will’s shoulder, it looks as though the dynamic between the two will be fun and lighthearted as Will’s been snapped mid-laugh.

On Friday, fans will be able to see a brand new marketing promo for the eagerly anticipated new series.

The promo will air on ITV1 on Friday during the Rugby World Cup 2023 Live.

Ahead of the series, which will launch in October, AJ revealed how excited she was to be the face of Big Brother’s reboot.

She said: “I couldn’t be happier, following in the footsteps of some of my favourite broadcasting legends to front such an iconic show is an absolute honour.

“To do it alongside my amazing friend Will is the icing on the cake.”

As Paul Mortimer, the director of reality commissioning for ITV2 and ITVX, called AJ and Will the “perfect pairing”, he confessed the hosts have genuine chemistry.

The popular series originally aired on Channel 4 back in 2000 and was fronted by Davina McCall.

Although its time on the broadcaster came to an end in 2010, it was later commissioned by Channel 5 in 2011.

Former winner Brian Dowling presented the first two series on the new station before Emma Willis took the reins from 2013 until its end in 2018.

Now, a new generation of people will see AJ and Will take over, making them the first two presenters to have fronted the show together.

Ahead of the show’s launch, Wil said: “I grew up with Big Brother so getting a chance to host it with my mate AJ is a dream come true.

“I can’t wait to tell some housemates not to swear.”
