Big Brother bosses panic over security breach hours before live eviction

Big Brother: Kerry breaks down to Hallie

The Big Brother House was reportedly locked down on Thursday night over a serious breach.

According to The Sun, panicked ITV bosses were forced to confront a YouTuber who attempted to fly a drone over the building.

The publication reported the man claimed he had hacked their radio systems and listened in on conversations between the show’s crew.

The man reportedly refused to leave and shouted: “I will defend myself”.

A Big Brother spokesperson is claimed to have told the media outlet: “We have robust and rigorous security measures in place across our site for the safety of the Big Brother house, production team and Housemates. Safety and welfare is always a priority.”

Express.co.uk has contacted ITV for a comment.

The exact time of the alleged incident hasn’t been clarified and it’s unknown how long the house was in lockdown for.

A similar incident took place on the show in 2018 when YouTubers Ally Law and Ryan Taylor broke into the compound and took footage from behind the scenes.

The incident comes following an eventful episode, with plenty of drama going on inside the house too.

Kerry ended up in tears after having words with Farida.

The two didn’t see eye to eye over the shopping task and the interaction seemed to take its toll on Kerry.

Tensions continued to rise after Farida snapped at Kerry during a group meeting.

It led to the NHS worker Kerry leaving to go to the shared bedroom, where she told housemate Hallie about the argument.

Hallie then comforted the 40-year-old by giving her a hug and saying: “I’m always here for a cuddle if you’re needing one.”

A tearful Kerry responded: “I’m just so cross with myself because I can’t shut up.”

Farida also recently came under fire for her line of questioning about trans dating towards trans woman Hallie.

Discussing relationships earlier in the week, Farida turned to Hallie and asked: “I know you said you’ve never been in one, but imagine you did, right?

“So you know the men that are attracted to you, would they be classed as gay?”

Hallie clarified: “I’m a woman,” before Farida replied: “Yeah, so you’re a woman, but you’re a trans…”

Hallie explained: “I don’t see them as gay. I see them as them liking a woman.”

Big Brother continues on Friday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVx.
