BBC Breakfast finally welcomed longtime host Sally Nugent back onto the red sofa.
The journalist and presenter previously took a break from presenting the show for another work commitment.
Sally, 52, had a scheduled leave of absence after she was asked to take part in the Christmas Special of Strictly Come Dancing.
She was forced to temporarily leave the programme as she made her way to filming of the primetime show at Elstree Studios.
The star was also busy in training for the programme as BBC Breakfast is filmed up in Media City near Manchester.
But the anchor made her triumphant return to the flagship breakfast show for Monday's edition at the start of the week.
