Simple cleaning hack to store spare plastic bags leaves viewers mesmerised

A woman has shared her ultimate hack to store her plastic bags while staying at home during coronavirus lockdown – and viewers absolutely love it.

In the video, TikTok user xxx_hedi_xxx gathers all the plastic bags on the kitchen floor before demonstrating how to store them neatly.

She first flattens a Tesco plastic bag and folds it in three parts to form one long rectangle without folding the handle.

Then she folds one-third of the bag inwards, before doing the same to the opposite side to produce a square.

She continues by folding the square in half and making it into a triangle and again, this time into a smaller triangle.

Finally, the woman puts the triangle through the handle loop to secure it.

Before the video ends, she pulls out her drawer full of plastic bags in perfect triangular shapes.

The tidying hack footage has amassed more than 22,000 likes and thousands of shares.

Viewers were amazed by the never-known tip as one said: "Mind-blowing organisation skills. It's on my to-do list."

Another wrote: "Now I gotta do this."

Thanks to the quarantine, stay-at-home cleaning enthusiasts have now shared their secrets online and one mother hailed a £1.40 product a miracle that helps clear mould from blinds in minutes.

Another woman, who is a member of the Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It Facebook group, shared how she get stubborn limescale off her kettle using a £1 Sainsbury's product only.
