A plus size pole dancing instructor has been showing off her moves during lockdown.
Ro’Yale, AKA “Da Queen of Curves”, has been teaching lessons via Zoom.
She’s been putting clients’ flexibility to the test with pole fitness, stretch and aerial classes.
And her students are also able to brush up on their skills by checking out the instructional videos she has on her Instagram page.
More than 8,300 people follow the American influencer on Instagram – and thousands more have tuned into her clips.
Fans have branded the voluptuous dancer an “inspiration” who is “sexy as hell”.
So how did Ro’Yale get into the pole dancing industry?
After temporarily splitting from her husband, she took up the hobby.
It only took a few lessons in Atlanta, Georgia, to convince the curvy dancer to pursue her passion.
And after she found her talent, she decided to train to become a pole instructor.
In 2017, she said: “I remember getting that email when I was offered a position as an instructor, I just remember screaming.”
Ro’Yale added: “I was very excited, I was actually shocked. They saw that I was passionate about wanting to bring something different to the studio that they didn’t already have.
“Before I stated pole dancing I thought it was going to be super easy, that we were going to come in and swing around.
“I didn’t realise that it took a lot of strength and it took a lot of control of your body.
“I decided to give it a go because I was coming across a major milestone, I was turning 30.
“I had a recent separation from my husband and I didn’t really know who I was anymore, so I wanted to do something fun.”
Ro’yale is pleased she’s joined the pole dancing community because she is a role model to other curvy women.
Previously, she said: “My specific goals as a pole dancer are to compete more on the competition scene, to represent the curvier girls and hopefully that will inspire other ladies to pole and get into competitions also.”
