THEY have been estranged for over a year, and now it’s likely the next time Prince William will see Prince Harry again is at a sad family occasion, we can reveal.
According to Sarah Hewson, royal editor at Talk TV, William, 41, has "no plans" to see his younger brother to heal their rift – and she believes the next time they are likely to come face to face will be at a family funeral.
It comes after explosive claims made in Omid Scobie's book – 'Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival' – that the Prince of Wales tried to undermine Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Royal biographer Scobie, dubbed "Meghan's mouthpiece", claimed Wills “prioritised his loyalty to the monarchy” over his brother and leaked stories about the Sussexes to the press.
But friends of William last night blasted the “outrageous suggestions” ahead of the book's release tomorrow.
It's said to be the latest nail in the coffin for the pair's troubled relationship.

Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, Sarah said, “We have only seen Harry return for big family occasions – he came with Meghan for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, he came back for Prince Phillip’s funeral, then for his grandmother's funeral and then of course for his father’s coronation, which albeit was a very fleeting visit."
“But we don't have any of those big family or state occasions on the horizon. I can't think of any upcoming royal marriages, christenings, in the diary which would bring Harry back.

“We also know that Harry and Meghan won’t be with the family at Sandringham this Christmas – I think that would be very awkward – so it’s very difficult to see any other occasion, other than perhaps a family funeral, where the brothers would be in the same place together.”
Prince Harry, 39, recently appeared to hold out an olive branch to his father by calling him to wish him a happy 75th birthday earlier this month.

And while this is seemingly a step in the right direction for The King and his youngest son, Sarah believes a reconciliation between Harry and his brother is still far off.
She said: “The difficulty with this situation is that private conversations are regularly becoming public.
"Even the birthday phone call, we had the details that it was a warm conversation, that Megan also spoke to her father-in-law, and that Archie and Lily recorded a special rendition of happy birthday for their grandfather.
"The fact that those private conversations do end up in the public domain is a problem, because if you are going to start rebuilding a relationship, the trust needs to be there."
She continued: “We once had hope for William and Harry when, after the death of Prince Phillip, Kate tried to instigate a conversation between them.
"And again, after the death of the Queen, when we saw all Harry and Meghan join William and Kate for the long walk around the tributes.
"We thought that might be a catalyst for change, that we might start to see a thawing of relations, but it didn't come.

"And in fact, things got worse after that with the publication of Spare where the Princess of Wales didn't fare well and Harry portrayed Camilla as the wicked stepmother.
"I think it would be very, very, very difficult [to see a reconciliation] because there are some very deep rooted resentments and some very deep wounds between the brothers.”
Endgame also claims the Palace lied by saying Camilla would not be Queen – despite Queen Elizabeth II saying it was her “sincere wish” in 2020.
Scobie also states the Royal Household’s diversity drive is a PR stunt.
But Prince Charles hired Colleen Harris, whose family are from Guyana, as press secretary in 1998 and British-Nigerian Eva Omaghomi as community engagement chief in 2021.
