Fans of fast food chain McDonald's are getting a treat this October, with the chain releasing a brand new menu just in time for Halloween.
News of the items broke last week, with fans getting excited about many never-before-seen foods being added to the menu – including a 9 McNuggets Meal and an M&M's Halloween McFlurry.
And luckily for me, I got to try it as it launched today (October 18). Personally, it was one of the best menus McDonald's has released in a while, with a couple of game-changers being added to tantalise your tastebuds.

With an extensive new menu, I had saved a lot of room in my stomach to try it all out. And thank God I didn't as a feast awaited me.
First up I tried the Philly Cheese Stack which sees with two succulent beef patties coated with a cheese sauce, two cheese slices, grilled and crispy onions and pickles. This is all served in a toasted bun.
Hopefully you can see by my photo just how deliciously cheesy this was – you literally get a full-on mouthful of cheese with every bite. It's not overpowering though, with the burger giving you a juicy taste that really hits the spot.
The other new burger is The McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, which is 100% chicken breast fillet wrapped in a crispy, crunchy coating with a smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion and lettuce, all in a delicious sourdough style sesame topped bun.
This is one of my favourite burgers McDonald's added to their menu for ages – it's honestly an absolutely game-changer. The chicken is crispy, the lettuce and bun were fresh and tasty and the BBQ, cheese and onion pair with each other immaculately. If you're gonna get just one of the burgers, I definitely suggest this one!
Next up on the menu is the Chilli Cheese Bites, which come in a crispy batter and are served with a rich tomato dip. I have to be honest, I think I prefer McDonald's mozzarella bites, as these were a bit liquid-y for me. My partner helped me out with them though, and he enjoyed so it could just be personal preference.
I was also sent a 9 McNugget meal, which I think you'll agree we've all been crying out for. It just gives you that extra bit of McNugget you're after, without having to order it separately.
Next it was onto the desserts, and honestly I have to tell you, these were mostly amazing. The M&M's Halloween McFlurry sees soft dairy ice cream swirled with M&Ms and Halloween sugar shapes and topped with Galaxy Chocolate sauce, and it is as delicious as it sounds, with an amazing taste and texture.
I also tried out he Twix Toffee Apple McFlurry – soft dairy ice cream swirled with Twix biscuit and chocolate pieces and topped with a toffee apple sauce, which literally tastes like a Halloween party in your mouth.
The Toffee Apple Donut – which is a ring donut filled with toffee apple compote, topped with crumble pieces & toffee sauce – was also great and one of the best deep-filled donuts I've had in a while.
The only dessert I wasn't madly keen on was the Toffee Apple Pie – which is a crispy pastry filled with a spiced apple compote & toffee sauce, with toffee pieces.

Us Maccie fans certainly have a tasty October ahead, that's for sure!
