Greggs Halloween-themed treats includes a bat-shaped biscuit

HALLOWEEN is tricky this year but you can certainly treat yourself with the latest line-up of seasonal snacks at Greggs.

The celebration of all things ghostly and ghoulish this year brings with it baked goods with a spooky decorations as well as a pumpkin spice beverage.

Bat biscuit – 85p

Chocolate lovers will fall for Greggs bat-shaped biscuits.

The sweet treatis a gingerbread biscuit that's totally covered with Belgian milk chocolate, topped with edible sugar eyes.

Each bat biscuit is sold individually and is 67g and contains 288 calories.

Bats are certainly the shape of the season with Aldi selling a bat biscuit set to bake your own at home as part of its Halloween menu.

Spooky bun – 80p

Cake-fiends will be tempted by this spooky bun which is made from vanilla flavour mix, dipped in fondant and topped with coloured sprinkles.

And there's a choice of four festive edible decorations – a bat, spider, ghost or pumpkin.

Each spooky bun weighs just under 50g and contains 205 calories.

You can buy them individually or as a pack of 4 costing £2.75, which works out cheaper at just under 69p per cake.

Pumpkin spice latte – £1.95

The popular autumn drink is on sale through the Halloween period too so what better time to knock one back.

The coffee drink is only £1.95 for a regular, cheaper than last year thanks to a cut in VAT as a result of coronavirus.

And it's cheaper than the original pumpkin latte from rival Starbucks, which costs £3.35.

The pumpkin spice latte is coffee with sweet pumpkin spice flavour syrup, cream topping and topped spiced sugar sprinkles.

The 367ml drink has 228 calories.

If the Halloween holiday doesn't set your heart racing then Christmas is just around the corner too – along with Greggs' festive bakes.

The high street baker will bring back its festive bakes in two weeks time.

Greggs has revamped its loyalty app so fans will be able to swap points for free food instead of just a hot drink.
