Glam Goodwood racegoers join celebs like Harry Redknapp as they show off eye-catching dresses on the first day | The Sun

A WHOLE host of famous faces turned out for the anticipated first day of the Goodwood races wearing their finery.

Stars including former footballer Harry Redknapp were snapped suited and booted, while they mingled with other glamorous racegoers at the VIP event, which is also known as the Qatar Goodwood Festival.

The 72-year-old I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here champion and huge racing fan was in attendance to watch his horse Moktasaab in action on the course.

Going into the race, Moktasaab was unbeaten in two starts since joining William Knight.

Harry also rubbed shoulders with the likes of former Strictly Come Dancing judge and ballerina Darcey Bussell.

Darcey, 53, was the epitome of class as she wore a fitted monochrome dress with a subtle animal print pattern, black wedges and a large black fascinator.

Elsewhere, TV presenter Laura Woods was photographed smiling from ear to ear as she showed up.

Laura was joined by a female friend as they posed arm in arm before the races officially began.

But it wasn’t just about the celebrity attendees on the big day.

Other revellers also descended on the annual event located just outside of Chichester dressed to the nines and showing off their stylish ensembles.
