The crowd were fuming at the start of the second when an accidental eye poke from Queally led to a lengthy stoppage as doctors looked at the Brazilian’s eye.

But the 3Arena was left in shocked silence when just moments later their boy was stopped.

A vicious counter right from Pitbull found Queally's chin and sent him tumbling down – only to get up and eat another right-left combo that left him stumbling into the cage.

The brave warrior got up again but received several more blows to send him back into the cage before patricky began teeing off and forced the ref to step in and end it.

Gallagher showed off his striking power early and caught Patchy with some nice combos.

THings got exciting when he almost got an arm around Patchy's neck, but he failed to secure it as the rest of the round continued with Patchy controlling on top in another tough one to call for the judges.

    ROUND 1

It’s simply incredible scenes as the action gets underway and you can’t hear yourself think.

Gallagher was caught by a hand under the neck early doors in the clinch.

However, after spending around a minute on the ground, Strabanimal got back into the the ascendancy.

The pair duked it out on the floor as the crowd belted out Fields of Athenry.

It was a close one which is too hard to call which way the judges will give it.

    Weichel vs. Carvalho

A big second round for Pedro that started with him landing a nice punch before he was rocked with a right hand.

But he managed to fend off several submission attempts to get back to his feet.

The crowd favourite looked to be tiring after a lazy takedown attempt before the pair ended up tussling in a cage clinch.

But after getting back to his feet, Pedro started to tee off on the veteran – much to the crowds delight.

    Weichel vs. Carvalho

The highly-experienced Weichel is competing in his 54th MMA fight – far more than Carvalho.

But with the ‘Ole, Ole, Ole’ chants ringing round the 3Arena, the adrenaline must be pumping for Pedro.

But Weichel landed a huge kick, which echoed around the joint, before taking Carvalho to the ground.

After a minute or so on the deck he survived and escaped – but it was Weichel who took that first round.

    Daniel Weichel vs. Pedro Carvalho

This one promises to be another war.

Portuguese fighter Carvalho, who trains at SBG Ireland, is making his debut at the 3Arena.

He may have lost his last two fights but he insisted beforehand that has only made him a better fighter.

Carvalho will certainly have the Dublin crowd backing him against the German.

The Game is coming out to the cage to a warm welcome!
