AceShowbiz –Kobe Bryant‘s widow Vanessa Bryant continues to remember the fallen NBA star in any way possible. Two months after his death, Vanessa has released a new book titled “The Wizenard Series: Season One” which she promotes on her Instagram account.
“Welcome back to Dren! We hope you are all ready to catch up with the West Bottom Badgers for another magical basketball season. The #Wizenard Series: Season One is OUT NOW,” so the 37-year-old wrote alongside the promotional video. The words, “Sometimes winning means defeating yourself,” read accross the bottom of the clip.
The new book marks the latest installment of the “Wizenard” series, which is aimed to teach kids lessons through a fun combination of Kobe’s love of basketball and the “Harry Potter” franchise. Its first installment, titled “The Wizenard Series: Training Camp”, was released through Kobe’s own Granity Studios in 2019 and quickly named as a New York Times bestseller.
Granity Studios also published ashort film “Dear Basketball” that earned an Academy award.
Back in November, Kobe took to his Instagram account to share his sentiment about the company and its significance to him. “I created Granity Studios as a way of teaching valuable life lessons to the next generation. Our stories represent a competitive mindset about being the best at what you do,” so he wrote in the post alongside a picture of him being surrounded by books.

Two weeks later, they were laid to rest in a private ceremony at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, California.
