Earlier in the week, it was revealed the BBC may introduce a few changes to primetime show Strictly Come Dancing because of the coronavirus outbreak.
The show, which is due to air in the Autumn, could see contestants perform to an empty studio in a bid to reduce the number of people who come into contact with the cast and crew.
Speaking online during the Edinburgh TV Festival, BBC entertainment boss Kate Phillips, alongside BBC director of content Charlotte Moore, said it was one of their “big priorities.”
She said: “We are absolutely looking very carefully at Strictly and how we could do Strictly this autumn.
“That is absolutely one of our big priorities, making sure we can bring you a great Strictly. But I think inevitably things are going to change.”
