Much has been said of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s move from England to Canada to America. Since the world is going through a major health crisis right now, the Sussexs haven’t had a chance to find their footing in Los Angeles just yet. And according to new sources, Harry is having major conflicting emotions about their move.
Don’t worry, he doesn’t regret moving at all and is pumped to be in California with Meghan and Archie. According to a People source, “They are positive about the future. It is exciting for them to mark the end of the transition and the official start of their new chapter.”
That said, Harry does feel kinda bad about leaving the United Kingdom and stepping back from the royal family during a global pandemic. To make matters even more stressful, Harry’s dad, Prince Charles, recently tested positive for coronavirus. An Us Weekly source explained, “Despite their ups and downs, hearing that his dad is sick with a potentially life-threatening illness is a huge wake-up call. And he’s overwhelmed with feelings of guilt for not being closer to home while this is all going on.”
When Charles initially tested positive, he reportedly told Harry and Prince William over the phone. The source added, “During the heart-wrenching call, he confessed to feeling beyond helpless, being over 5,000 miles away in L.A.” Fortunately, Charles has since recovered from the virus, so hopefully that’s a weight lifted off Harry’s shoulders.
As of yesterday, more than 25,000 people in the U.K. tested positive. It’s definitely a strange and tense time for Harry to have moved away, but he and Meghan are focused on helping people and organizations while practicing social distancing and remaining inside.
