Mötley Crüe‘s Tommy Lee has revealed his latest face tattoos on social media.
The drummer posted three photos in an Instagram slideshow. One picture shows a set of dots curling around his eyebrow. The second picture reveals that Lee has added smaller, blacked-out stars to his to pre-existing star continuing the arc. Another tattoo appears to be a Japanese word or phrase.
According to the post, all of the tattoos were done by artist Mario Barth.
Lee’s Mötley Crüe bandmate Nikki Sixx praised the new tattoos on the Instagram post. “Looks awesome. I need a tune-up with some of my ink, too. Great,” Sixx said.
Mötley Crüe were set to kick off their tour this month with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett And The Blackhearts but were forced to postpone the trek due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The bands announced the rescheduled dates for the tour earlier this month, which will now kick off in Nashville on June 19, 2021.
Meanwhile, Lee is also set to release his new album ANDRO, which is due out in October.
