Millie Bobby Brown has opened up about her romance with Jake Bongiovi – and revealed she is already planning children with him.
The Stranger Things icon, 19, announced earlier in April year she was engaged to Jake, the son of Jon Bon Jovi after dating for two years.
While the couple may be young, it seems the actress is completely smitten with Jake, with the couple already planning a future together – including their children.
In a new interview with Glamour, Millie admits that she has “always wanted” a big family, though didn’t see herself as a wife until she met Jake.
“I wanted to be the woman that my mom is to me and I wanted to be the woman that my grandmother was to me,” she told the mag. “So that was never my, like, intention, to be a wife.”

“But after meeting Jake and seeing, ‘Oh, I don’t have to be this stereotypical wife for him. He doesn’t want me to be that either,” she added.
“He wants me to go and do my thing and live my life, and he will hold my hand in the process of that.’ I was like, ‘Oh, I do want this.’”
The couple were first spotted together in June 2021, with the duo later declaring themselves ‘BFFs’ on social media.
They went ‘Instagram official’ with their relationship that November, making their red carpet debut as a couple in May 2022 at the BAFTAs in the UK.

During the chat with Glamour, which marked her as one of their ‘women of the year’, Millie noted that dating Jake, 21, allowed her to “love herself” more in the face of cruel remarks while growing up in the spotlight.
“When I met Jake,” she told the magazine, adding: “I just felt I could be loud. He embraced that and encouraged that. And I fell in love with myself while being with him.”
Crediting him for helping her ‘love herself’ more, she added their connection felt “bizarre” to her, and now she’s looking for keeping things going for the long haul.
She also noted she was “perfectly aware” of the criticism of their young engagement, but didn’t care.
