Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden has been spotted without his wedding ring amid ongoing rumours that he and wife Charley Webb, who is also known for the ITV soap, have secretly called it quits on their marriage.
The actor, who plays David Metcalfe on the ITV soap, and is expected to leave the Yorkshire Dales this Christmas, was all smiles as he was spotted taking a stroll away from the Steph's Packed Lunch studios in Manchester.
Wearing a cap back to front, Matthew looked casual as he donned a white T-shirt, a black knitted shirt and loose-fitting trousers.
Along with a bum bag around his chest, the actor carried a warm patterned jackiet on a coat hanger in one arm.
It appeared the star had no jewellery on any of his fingers.
The sighting comes amid constant speculation over whether he and Charley are still together.
One of the first signs of trouble in paradise was that eagle-eyed fans spotted Matthew had seemingly unfollowed his wife on Instagram.
The star has since re-followed Charley once more, showing signs of a possible reunion between the pair.
Despite that, neither star has shared a statement about the status of their relationship.
Charley has also since been spotted without her wedding ring in public.
What's more, the mum-of-three even told her fans that she was purposely "ignoring life" at the moment.
While not addressing the rumours directly, she took to Instagram to share a current selfie of herself, and the star looked downcast.
Putting the snap on her stories, Charley said: "Ignoring life and all the jobs I need to do. Also, I want more piercings."
Charley and Matthew, who tied the knot in a low-key wedding ceremony in February 2018 after meeting on the set of Emmerdale in 2007, share three children together. They have been together for 15 years.
At the gorgeous nuptials, Debbie Dingle star Charley also had fellow Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter as her bridesmaid.
The couple share children Buster, born in April 2010, Bowie, born in December 2015, and Ace, born in July 2019.
Matthew is now busy rehearsing for his new role in Elf the Musical after announcing he was leaving Emmerdale earlier this year.
Charley left her role as savvy businessman and mum-of-two Debbie Dingle two years ago.
