Madonna’s tribute daughter as she prepares for celebration tour
After a major health scare sparking a delay, Madonna finally kicked off her highly anticipated Celebration World Tour.
The show which will conclude in April 2024 took off with a mammoth five-date stint at London’s O2 arena before heading to Belgium on Saturday.
Among the dancers, choreography, costume, and set design, the Queen of Pop went viral on social media for the show’s daring and provocative theme with some critical of the star.
As the retrospective tour highlights her more than four-decade-long recording career, the opening night featured a video of celebrities talking about her impact.
Although the archival footage featured praise from the likes of Ariana Grande and Beyonce who discussed her impact, it also included a clip of Cher from TikTok taking a shot at Madonna.

“She’s mean,” Cher said in the montage which was captured by a concertgoer and shared on TikTok.
Her comment was a brief snippet from the Strong Enough singer’s Wogan interview in 1991 where she detailed having Madonna over as a guest.
As well as calling her “not beautiful” and “not unbelievably talented,” Cher continued to share her disdain for Madonna.
“There’s something about her that I don’t like. She’s mean. I don’t like that,” Cher said via The Mirror.

To which Ellen laughed: “Well, alright, Miss Negative, it’s who you’d want to, not who you wouldn’t want to.”
Despite their dislike towards each other, they have a number of things in common including both holding the same record on the American charts.
