Love Island UK star set to appear on Albanian version of show after being removed from the UK version
A former Love Island contestant is to make a second debut on the Albanian version of the show – after being removed from the UK version earlier this year.
Haris Namani, 22, from Doncaster, was one of the first Islanders to enter the winter Love Island villa in South Africa on Monday 16 January 2023.
Having coupled up with Olivia Hawkins, the boxer and TV salesman survived only nine days in the villa, after being sensationally booted off the UK version after footage of him in a street fight emerged.
Namani is the ex-boyfriend of TOWIE star Courtney Hodgson – who he allegedly broke up with only a few weeks prior to appearing on the winter instalment of Love Island, according to Heat World.
This Albanian Love Island series is the first of its kind, having made its debut on September 3, with the villa located in Palasë, Southern Albania.

Presented by 32-year-old Albanian television presenter, singer and model Luana Vjollca, the show will follow in a similar fashion to the UK version, with a potential couple scoring €50,000 should they win.
The show is already underway, having aired every night on TV Klan since September 3 at 6:20pm – on Sunday at 9:00pm – with Namani due to appear in its second week.
Namani appeared in a promotional clip speaking in fluent Albanian on Instagram, where headlines about his furious ex-girlfriend calling him out were shown, alongside well-wishes from his reality star pals, such as fellow Islander Tanyel Raven.
The clip focused onon Namani’s boxing background, showing the reality star posing and throwing air jabs.
A video had surfaced on social media while Namani was in the villa, of him landing blows on another party-goer in the street on a night out.
He was seen punching a man before following him and knocking him down with a second swipe.
In a shocking clip, taken in May 2022 in Doncaster, Haris sparred with his opponent, knocked him to the ground and shouted: ‘I’m not a bully… on my mum’s life’ while being encouraged by a friend behind the camera.
British fans, as well as curious Albanian viewers, have been flooding the boxer’s comments on his Instagram page – with a 108K following – to wish him luck on his second venture to find love, but some people weren’t so supportive.

However, another person exclaimed: ‘A lot of advertising on Harris!!!’
Another Albanian national wrote: ‘You say you hang in Albania, you don’t hear a person talking about this show.’
A fellow disgruntled person said: ‘Show without 1 purpose or competition, more or less compatible that came to connect and finally they all split up.’
A final skeptical Albanian individual wrote: ‘Did you remember this one? They told me that he is Albanian, that in England he didn’t mention on loveisland at all that he is proud to be Albanian.’

Courtney Hodgson, 24, previously dubbed the TV salesman the ‘biggest game player’ as she commented on an Instagram post announcing his participation in the reality show back in January.
After learning he had flown to South Africa ahead of the winter installment, she fumed: ‘We were only at winter wonderland six weeks ago together with my family.
In a follow-up comment, the furious social media star added: ‘Biggest game player going, leaving me for a TV show and I called it from the second he left me.’
Despite her claims that they were a couple, Haris said at the time: ‘I’ve never found love. I think this is the show that can help me.
‘It’s the best opportunity for me to find the girl and find the right one. I’ve obviously not found the right one myself.’
