Kris and Kylie Jenner are set to make an incredibly generous donation to hospitals fighting coronavirus, with reports they’ll be donating hand sanitisers.
Kylie, 22, and her older sister Kim Kardashian have already pledged $1 million (£766,400) towards coronavirus relief efforts but it’s said the family wants to contribute more.
According to TMZ, Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin has teamed up with Coty, which owns a majority stake in the companies, to produce hand sanitisers for hospitals in Southern California.
Since the coronavirus outbreak heightened last month, hospitals have suffered a major shortage of sanitising products and protective wear.
Each bottle of hand sanitiser will reportedly include the message: ‘Dedicated to first responders working to support our communities.’
Kylie’s cosmetics brand was valued to be worth $1 billion early last year but in September, she sold the majority share to Coty for $600 million ($481 million). However, the reality TV star still maintains control of creative decisions.
Last week, Kylie brought her doctor to tears after donating $1 million to coronavirus relief efforts.
Alongside a picture of Kylie and her daughter Stormi, Dr Thais Aliabadi wrote: ‘I am speechless, my eyes are filled with tears of joy and my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude. I made a wish to the Universe to gather protective masks for our brave healthcare workers and today my dream came true.
‘One of my patients, a beautiful Living Angel just donated $1,000,000 to help us buy hundreds of thousands of masks, face shields, and other protective gear which we will have delivered directly to our first responders, as too many masks at hospitals are disappearing before making their way onto the faces of our front line heroes.’
Dr Aliabadi continued: ‘I have never felt more blessed to be a doctor, as helping our brave ER and ICU workers feels just as gratifying as helping my own patients.
She finished her message with: ‘From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU @kyliejenner ❤️. You are my hero. This generous donation will help save many precious lives. Our world is a better place with you in it. I love you so much. Thank you X a million….’
Confirming the donation, Kylie replied: ‘I love you! and thank YOU for all the love and care you put into everything that you do! you’re an angel on earth.’
