Kate Garraway sent her best wishes to Prime Minister Boris Johnson as he battles coronavirus in intensive care.
The Good Morning Britain star took to social media to speak out for the first time after it was announced that her husband, Derek Draper, is also in hospital battling the virus.
On Monday night it was announced that Boris Johnson had been taken to intensive care after his symptoms from the virus continued throughout the day, 10 days after he tested positive for Covid-19.

Kate’s co-star Piers Morgan had taken to social media to share a photograph of the Prime Minister as he wished him a speedy recovery.
Alongside the snap, former I’m A Celebrity star Kate wrote: “Get well Boris x.”
On Monday’s Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan spoke about Kate’s husband of 15 years as they sent well-wishes to the couple, who have daughter Darcey and son William together.
Susanna, 49, said during the show: “I know I speak for all of the team and all of our viewers when we send our love to Kate Garraway and her husband Derek Draper.
“We send him every ounce of strength as he recovers from coronavirus and our love to Kate.”
She continued: “You may have read over the last couple of days that Derek is in intensive care, he's tested positive for coronavirus.
“On Thursday night, Kate posted a video on Instragram when she and her family were clapping for carers, and said that she had an extra reason to do that.
“We thank all of the NHS workers who are working so hard at the moment treating those who are suffering from the virus.”
Piers added to the tributes, saying it was “agonising” to hear that Derek has contracted the virus.

A spokesperson for Kate confirmed last week: “Kate's husband, Derek Draper, has been taken to hospital and is being treated in intensive care with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
“Kate, hasn't been tested, however she has also been displaying mild symptoms, also since Monday, and as a result has been on strict isolation with her children at home.”
