Im A Celeb winner Danny Miller vows to make up missing out on seeing baby son Albert

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner Danny Miller opened up on how difficult it was to not see his baby son Albert for the duration of his time in Gwrych Castle in Wales.

The former Emmerdale star, 30, appeared on Good Morning Britain the morning after he was crowned King of the Castle, and he revealed just how much absence from his newborn had affected him in camp.

The actor, who is engaged to midwife fiancée Steph Jones, also 30, insisted he was going to spend the "rest of his life" making up to his son for not being around for three weeks of his six week old son's life.

Danny also had his first reunion with his little tot and Steph during an interview on Lorraine on Monday 13 December.

Speaking to presenters Adil Ray and Ranvir Singh, Danny shared: "Albert is six weeks now.

"I haven’t seen him yet, I’m in Wales still doing all the press and all that kind of stuff, the interviews and stuff so I’m waiting to go back today.

"Can't wait to see him, can’t wait to put him in my arms and see him for the first time," the actor declared as he pined for the reunion.

Shaking his head, Danny then admitted it has felt "like a lifetime" like since he last saw his son.

"Well it is a lifetime for him," Ranvir pointed out with a chuckle.

"It is yeah, fortunately for him he’s had no idea," Danny agreed. "But unfortunately for me I’ve missed him.

"He won’t know, but I certainly have and I’ll spend the rest of my life making sure I make it up to him," the soap star added.

Later in the morning, during his appearance chatting to Lorraine Kelly, Danny was much more emotional as he experienced a heartfelt reunion with Steph and Albert.

As the couple yearned for each other through the screen, Danny declared how much he loved and had missed his family.

Breaking down in tears, Danny laughed and apologised to the presenter for giving her the "worst interview" she'd "ever have".

The adorable scenes continued as Steph held Albert up for the camera so his daddy could see him, and Danny later explained the main reason he'd taken part in I'm A Celeb was so he could "provide for" his son.
