A former Top of the Pop star had an emotional reunion with his beloved classic car just hours after issuing a stern warning to thieves who stole his Triumph.
Jamie Theakston, who co-presented the music show between 1998 and 2003, revealed his striking green Triumph Stag had been nicked yesterday afternoon.
In a frustrated social media message, Jamie called out criminals for stealing his “unique” model.
He even posted images of his two dogs enjoying the convertible to show how much the vehicle means to the family.
He warned on X, formerly Twitter: “To the p***k who stole our car last night – you picked the wrong one – it’s completely unique and everyone is looking for it – spread the word.”

However, just hours after his post, the family revealed their car had been found “miles from home”.
Jamie’s wife Sophie Theakston posted an update on Instagram this morning admitting they had been reunited.
However, Sophie stressed the car had been “driven into the ground”. A photograph then showed the Stag being loaded onto a breakdown trailer.
She posted on Instagram: “Firstly, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to Mark and his lovely wife who found Esme late last night and let us know where we could locate her.
