A SAVVY shopper has revealed the "best invention" she swears by to avoid putting the heating on – and it's only £10.
Megan Welsh bought her first home in Glasgow this year and has spent months transforming it into a colourful and quirky haven.
But with the arrival of winter, the 25-year-old has also been having to think about how to keep her flat cosy.
"With winter in full swing I’m all about keeping warm without cranking that heating up", she said.
And revealing her top buy, she added: "A hoodie blanket is up there with one of my favourite inventions hehe."
Megan picked up the pink heart fleecy piece from Online Home Shop for just £10.
But if you're looking for an even better bargain, prices on the plain coloured hoodie blankets – hailed as "comfort buddies" -start from just £7.
YouTuber and podcast host Megan shared her cosy find with her 119,000 followers on Instagram (@meganowelsh).
And social media users are loving her buy, with the clip racking up 75,000 views.
"Loveeeeeee this", gushed one.
